"Visiting in the fall off-season allowed us to score a seat on the edge of the balcony overlooking the port. The lunch menu was restricted but we enjoyed a nice pizza. Dinner offered fresh fish choices as well as pork."

"Sitting in front of the sea, you will witness the wonderful sunset ... if you dig in. Excellent reception, beautiful cuisine with strong Corsican identity, ... pietra is served in pressure and well fresh ( rare) and is excellent as well. A refined anti pasti is offered, even if you take a pizza!The cyrene salad is a "cooked" salad and well worked, excellent. I don't know why, but tonight, there were really a lot of flies... planning a repulsive spray."

"The amazing part about Corsica is that they can dive into the sea in the afternoon and eat mountain food in the evening. this restaurant is located in a mountain village near porto (20 minutes by car,) served very good local cuisine and especially meat (like wild boar). the meals are simple, but very tasty. portions are not very large, but the service is actually very good with family atmosphere. when they have time, they try to come a little earlier to enjoy the sunset in the village (which offers magnificent views)."

"My wife and I are currently in Corsica vacation and earlier we had a pleasant lunch in the le soleil couchant restaurant in porto. not to find the easiest restaurants, but the effort worth it as it probably has the best view of the sea and the impressive granite cliffs/hills. eating or surely the 2 salade fraicheurs (prawns, smoked salmon, avocado and one of our favorite ingredients mango) we ordered was excellent. our main expectant was also top-class, but his female colleague less so openly dismissed our request for a water finger bowl) and I suspect that she can be responsible for some of the last negative reviews? the side, a good experience and one should I recommend to others."
