"Even though we got in there a little late, we still had delicious food and service! Both young ladies were as sweet as they can be! During these times where employees are short staffed, sick, quitting and everything else, it's nice to go somewhere to eatand they are nice to you! Give these girls a raise! They truly deserve it!!"

"Friendly staff, ordered a chicken caesar wrap that was delicious, but they also serve pizza slices in a stand next to the sandwich counter, and I can't do it again at all. It was certainly not made this day, it tasted like a microwave disc old delivery pizza."

"Just got delivery tonight and very excited that we have found our new favorite pizza place ! We ordered two different kinds because we couldnt decide. One Brooklyn pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms..absolutely delicious. and a white pizza (my fav) with chicken bacon and spinach. Great pizza!"

"Absolutely fantastic pizza. My wife and I consistently get the Lasagne pizza and it never disappoints. We tried a hand full of their appetizers, but they're just average. Several times we have tried other pizza places, but they are simply not good, even if they are more comfortable. We'll take the trip from downtown Newport about twice a month. Good. Also the pizza is even more bangin’ the next day when you heat it up again."

"That was my second time at Portsmouth Publick House. My first experience was fantastic simply a 4.5-star experience. Food was better than expected and service was great. We have a beer, Margarita Sampler-Ding, Schwein Nachos and a BBQ pizza. The drinks were great, Nachos were amazing (Riesenportion, which they all shake on a pizza and bake, the pizza is huge (16” and really good. This second time, however, was less than stellar probably 3.5 stars. My wife and I thought the car museum on the street was a fundraiser and thought we would bite ourselves quickly as we enjoyed it for the first time. Unfortunately, the nachos were burned this second time and the service was somewhat slow. The fried pimples and Asian dumplings were great. One thing I did not love (personal preference was that they did not serve Coke products (only Pepsi). As a DC addict, that was a disappointment. Our server was friendly and accommodating but has not looked very often. I'm sure I'll be back, but maybe a little picker with the timing and order."
