"We love going to weds trivia as often as we can ! As a working couple , we often have dinner here so we can get to the club in time for the start of Mike Van Ackers excellent quiz. We order on or before 6.30 every time we come and wait until 7.45 pm before our buzzer alerts us to fetch our dinner from the servery! This happens every week religiously ! Can it really take anHour and 15 mins to produce fried food ??! The food is cheap , and so it should be! it's mostly overcooked, thrown together , and occasionally looks like it has been run over by a golf buggy before we get it ! We've tried the "specials" but they are so "special" we gave up , as they are variously Finished or look like they have been thrown on the plate from a great distance ! We return time and again to " something and chips" as we feel that even this kitchen can't ruin fried food .. shame we have to wait so long !"

"The last couple of times now we have been very disappointed with the quality of the pizza's which used to be great. Last night we ordered half pepperoni and half Thai prawns and the base was soggy, didn't notice or taste any cheese and all we could taste was an overwhelming tomato sauce and just overall very disappointing for the $34 we paid (included delivery). Sorry La Madrina we won't be giving you any more chances and we have complained in the past but the staff just don't seem interested. You are too much a hit and miss for us"

"Great place - you can sit outside on the deck overlooking the lake or stay inside.there is a bar and also a dance floorStaff are friendly and service was great, with the waiter recommending their dishes when we were not sure what to pick. And their suggestion was perfect.Would recommend a look."

"I decided to give their flash menu a go and was a bit dissapointed. We had one chicken and one meat lovers and at more than double the price of a normal pizza, it was only average and not realy worth the extra money."

"We 've been going to this place on and off for a couple of years but now have had enough of the poor service and quality. So may times we 've ordered take away coffees only to find them half full of froth and little to show...for the (not inconsiderable cost). You order a large flat white and you get a small amount of actual coffee. Then recently we were charged $17 for a large coffee and medium coffee and a $4 snack. When we queried this later (upon realising we must have been over-charged) we got a couple of bucks back, so we were still over-charged. It 's not even that great a coffee. So, no, they 've had enough chances and we 'll take our business else-where."
