"We chose this restaurant because it opened for dinner at 6:30 pm. Every other place we tried was closed till 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. We ordered a pizza, a calzone with two side salads. The salads were fresh and tasty with a mild vinegrette dressing. The food came out freakishly fast, maybe ten minutes after we ordered. The pizza was cooked fine with a crispy thin crust. The calzone's crust was partially burned, with a black spot larger than a quarter. The filling was not piping hot, just warm. One of the ingredients was "oeuf ", which we knew meant egg. We couldn't imagine an egg in a calzone. After a few bites we found the egg in the middle. Neither the yolk or the white were cooked at all. They were barely warm. This may be typical in this area but we did not like it. Service was friendly. We were in and out in less than an hour. Food and a shared bottle of water cost 25€."

"This small restaurant recently taken over by a new team offers simple and unpretentious cuisine in an atmosphere that I felt like rather family.But, although the menu offers only little choice, meats are tasty and their cooking very successful. The accompaniments were more at discretion. The desserts, however, have nothing special and would probably deserve a more beautiful garment. The chef is very friendly and smiling, and will not fail to come and greet you, or even ask you if you wish. I would be able to address my encouragement and my wish for success to the whole team."

"I knew the caterer at the base, I went with my mother, the dish of the day is absolutely delicious, for 18,50 € we were entitled to the entrance, the dish, the dessert and a glass of wine! I really recommend this restaurant it is really excellent!"

"Local restaurant along the pizza/tarte flambee idea with traditional Alsace food on the menu. Pleasant setting in the middle of town with a terrace. We sat outside and had a very traditional meal. Little disappointed that they only had one local beer. Service was good although it took a long time for the bill to arrive"

"We were a group of 13 friends looking for a restaurant in selestat. because of the high season there were not so many restaurants open. aldo was one of them. we were not sure what to expect, but it was a very good experience:...friendly service, good eating, large portions! the vegie pizza was very good and the Gambas salad, I recommend."
