"Splendid winery in Tremezzina, located after a short staircase in front of the Lario. Inside it is a real wine cellar with exposed natural stone, with many bottles of wine exposed both at the entrance and on the upper floor, where there are the first seats, consisting of real wine barrels used as tables. On the floor above there is a terrace decorated with a pergola of real vines, and if you are lucky by a couple of these tables you can see the lake. In the menu ' there are typical salami and cheeses at Km 0 and also other high quality products including the lonza, black angus, the bran of parma 24 months and also pizza shoots. The choice of wines is very wide including all regions of Italy and various vintages, with very honest prices (ideam for eating). The owners Joost and Deborah and also the waiters Leo and Sara besides being very nice, professional and friendly, they are great wine experts and have all attended courses from sommeliers. if you have doubts about the wine to choose from, they will gladly help you in choosing with detailed explanations. So and so coffee, while the sweets are delicious including a selection of chocolates of modica. As long as I lived near this place I attended him every week. you can not appreciate. "We were staying close to this restaurant and thought it looked ok, wish we’d read the reviews! The owner was really nice and friendly but the food was awful. My partner ordered chicken with vegetables when it arrived it was just 2 chicken legs with nothing, we asked for some vegetables so he brought some dry polenta. I ordered a salad and it was disgusting, leaves were shrivelled and brown, it really should have been thrown a few days before. Nothing else, just leaves. Would not recommend this place AT ALL!"

"We had an ok meal. It was a Saturday night in June and we didn 't want to walk far, so eat local. The restaurant has a bar downstairs, mainly a drinkers bar I think, and upstairs 2 rooms, ornately decorated in panelled wood but giving a feel of faded former affluence. The restaurant started quiet with few other customers but it did liven up later. The menu was fairly simple but a reasonable selection of fresh meats, fish, chicken dishes. Our food was ok overall but variable. On the downside, the rolls provided with Grissini sticks. They were hard and stake. I asked if they could be changed but I think the answer was we don 't have anything else . Anyhow my entrecôte steak was ok, i wasn 't asked how I wanted it cooked and as it turned out it was on the rarer side of medium, just as I like it, more by chance though! On the upside, my wife had the Lake Fish called Laverrol which was presented filleted but reformed in its skin, head on and was very tasty. Chips and salad, simple but fine. Desserts ok, frozen tiramisu I think."
