"I got the large Margarita pizza and it was pretty good. It was a little dry and definitely could've used more sauce. But it was good and had a good char. I'd order from there again for sure."

"My family and I tried Basil’s Pizza last night. I find it interesting how different pizza is perceived by various people. I remember speaking to the owners of many different pizzerias and restaurants up and down the east coast of America. The subject of their choice of ingredients would come up from time to time. We would be trying to show them new products and having discussions about the brands that they bought and why. I can’t tell you how many owners told me they don’t use Grande Cheese or any of these quality ingredients we’ve been talking about on this thread, because they said, these people down south just can’t tell the difference, so why spend the money. I was always disturbed when I heard something like that. Deep down inside, I want everyone to want the best and care about the quality. In the real world, I must admit, that those restaurateurs were right in a sense. If no one knows better, what is the use? If a person grew up on Papa Johns or such their entire lives, they do not know better. They do not know good pizza even exists. The big corporate chains dumbed down America’s sense of pizza. Before them, all we knew, “was” good pizza. I have eaten at almost every pizza place mentioned in this thread but one or two. I would say that I would eat at any one of them mentioned instead of eating Basil’s pizza ever ever ever again."

"So disappointed. I try to support local businesses but it’s no surprise that they aren’t able to stay afloat. I ordered a chef salad with ranch dressing, they put very few slices of some dried up cold cuts that I can’t even tell you what it was, and watered the dressing down so much but was too late when I poured it on the salad and it made it so soggy, ugh. Next I ordered an only cheese calzone that had something brown in it and was loaded with grease, shouldn’t it have been baked? I also ordered pasta salad and they called to say they didn’t have any and asked what I want instead because they weren’t able to refund me, she offered garlic bread so I assumed she meant garlic knots, lol, I got bread with butter and spices on it toasted for $4.00. This place is a joke and should close their doors."
