"The service from our waiter was unacceptable. She had quite an attitude when asked a simple question. Overall uninterested. Maybe this is a result of the mandatory 20% service fee so why work as hard when you’re guaranteed a cut.Everything is overly expensive. $10 for a bottle of carbonated water that is about $2.50 at whole foods for the same one. $100 for 4 pizzas…Pizza was nothing special. Overly sweet tomato sauce and how is there not a margherita on the menu?"

"I've been here a couple times for lunch, and while I was satisfied both times, the quality of food was inconsistent with each visit. Don't get me wrong, it's good food, but if you go there more than once and want to get the same thing again you might be surprised with the results. Maybe it's because they just started lunch service and they're still working out the kinks. I dunno. But the large beer selection, unique appetizers, and diverse menu are definitely worth checking out."

"After a long day of touring colleges, we found this place for dinner and rushed over because it was very late and they close at 10pm. It’s amazing at how busy it was on a Monday night at 9:30pm which just confirms how good it is. We ordered a few small plates including Cauliflower and roasted potatoes along with a local beer and dinner was just about perfect. The staff is friendly and our waitress was impossibly beautiful but then again, LA is the land of beautiful people. I really appreciate the fact this is a vegetarian restaurant and it proves you can make excellent food without meat. I love to make cauliflower at home but after having it here at the Butchers Daughter, I’m going to modify my recipe. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area but I’ll definitely stop here again if given a chance."

"Our server was awesome. We had a toddler and were disappointed the kitchen wouldn’t make certain adjustments (removing hot pepper from the burrito or flatbread pizza) for him. Only complaint other than that was the muffin on the tiny egg muffin sandwich was ROCK HARD. Yikes Out service was outstanding however"
