"My first visit to Brothers was a short one as they are not open for lunch Monday to Friday which I have never seen before from a restaurant so close to the downtown area of a city. They also do not serve dinner on Sundays...which can be quite frustrating as that is one of the major nights to enjoy a night out for dinner. Make sure you check the strange hours so you can manage to come down here when the place is actually open. Hopefully in the future they will change the hours to be more uniform (such as to Lunch served I had been recommended the restaurant by a friend so I decided to return later in the day for dinner once it was open. The dining room is a little small so I would recommend reserving the one large table near the entrance if you are coming with more than people for dinner. The menu was quite large with a mixture of steak, chicken, fish, a few Greek dishes, pizza and pasta, and strangely, a few Asian inspired appetizers. The soup of the day was fresh, homemade, and delicious. My partner's Caesar salad (an extra was fresh and crisp. While my food was plated and presented beautifully, my New York strip steak was fatty and slightly overdone. My fries were not salted or seasoned. My partner's lasagna was much warmer on one side than the other and quite watery as if it had been previously frozen and then warmed in an oven with uneven heating or a microwave. My favorite part of the meal was the cookies and cream cheesecake we had for dessert, but unfortunately that was definitely not made in house and is brought in or store bought. If I could recommend any changes to the menu, it would be to cut down the size of the menu and use more fresh, not frozen ingredients and to cut back on all of the extra charges in the menu for a Caesar salad, to add chicken to the salad, etc and focus on a smaller menu of good, fresh, homemade food. The service, however, was excellent. Our waitress was fast, friendly, and came to check on us multiple times. In total, though the portions were large, I still felt the food to be a bit overpriced for the quality. Average food for an above average price."
