"I'm not sure why this restaurant has many negative reviews, as my experience there was quite pleasant. I was on vacation at the time, and since my family is Chinese and this is the only Chinese restaurant in Jasper (and the only one in a 200 km radius) we came in. It was fairly empty, so we had low expectations. But we were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the service was outstanding. I go to Chinese restaurants often, and the service is usually meh. But not this restaurant. We were seated immediately, with menus, tea, and everything ready. The server was very friendly and provided us with good suggestions. The food came really fast (took 7ish minutes) and was hot, authentic, and delicious. I'm from a Chinese household so I know my Chinese food. The server checked on us multiple times (which almost never happens in Chinese restaurants), and made sure we were all good. When we finished the server offered us fortune cookies and gave some extra to the kids. Only downside is that the food was pricey, but Jasper is a tourist city so you can't expect too much. But if you know how to order, the bill won't be too much. I read another review where 2 ppl racked up a $70 bill, but our 8 person party was less than 180. Overall great experience."
