"Ordered on Skip the Dishes on a night where the weather wasn't the greatest (and they were handling their own delivery) so we understood going into it that the order would take longer than 45 minutes but what we didn't anticipate was the complete lack of communication we saw. When we called after an hour and a half (and the Skip app telling us the order has arrived) the staff had no clue of our order and told us they'd call us back after they looked. Another 40 minutes pass so we call again because we haven't heard anything and they tell us they'll call us back. A third call and a total of an hour and a half since the first call and we still haven't received our order. The final call they told us 30 minutes and the order would be here; that was not even remotely close. We called a final time and it seemed like the food wasn't even cooked yet because they kept asking if we wanted to cancel it or not because they're in the middle of cooking it. They lied multiple times throughout the evening about the whereabouts of our order and the utter lack of communication. It was 10:45 p.m. before we saw our food. We ordered at 5:57 p.m. The first snowfall of the season warrants a slightly longer delivery time, but not a nearly 5 hour wait."
