"Fabulous food and service. The employees there are so friendly and take the time to actually chat with you. This summer we took our puppy with us and we sat outside at a table. When the owner saw Shawnee eating a taco and sharing my nachos, both with hot salsa, he was surprised. Next thing I know he comes back outside with a takeout box with food for Shawnee. How often does that ever happen. The food is authentic Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend Pablo's."

"Home away from home! From a man grown in a 1st generation Mexican family home in Texas. This place has by far wiped all existence of me and my wife’s home sickness. With a true Latin ambience that makes you want to jump up and dance and food that is on par with my abuelita’s home cooking. It is a symphony of deliciousness as if the Aztec gods came down to prepare the foods themselves. We can’t wait to see what else Casa Real has in store as we get settled in from our move."

"This place is awesome, great setting at the back end of the historic Olvera street. 1 gripe is that they serve the guacamole on a bare cutting board. REALLY COOL presentation, I just wish they would put down a barrier between the delicious guacamole and the bare cutting board that is cracked and ruddy as most cutting boards are (I've little doubt it was washed before use as a presentation platter but still). Do that and they get a perfect 5 stars. Like I said, the presentation is really really cool but I only ate from the top of the guacamole mound, being careful to not eat any of the guacamole that was in contact with the bare cutting board. Also: the service was really good. The guy who was the only server at the place was very very busy but gave my table just enough attention to know he gave a s*it but not so much that he was annoying."
