"Nous avons été bien installés. le repas est moyen et sans chichi, rien de trop; les proportions pourraient etre un peu supérieures. l'emplacement est bien sur le marché aux fleurs? l'ouverture complète de la façade est agréable. Nous n'avons pas visité les toilettes et ne sommes pas tombés malades non plus. Mais il y avait effectivement des tables libres alors qu'à côté, les gens faisaient la queue pour avoir une table"

"Was recommended by our apartment owners and we came for lunch. The restaurant decor is nice and cost. The service was pleasant. Both of us had duck liver as starters to share and we ordered grilled scallop and duck breast as mains. Food display was...lovely. The portion is large by French standards and we had a full and satisfying meal. The bread basket is generous with whole pieces of mini breads. Price is a bit on the high side but the portion is large and this is the city center area after all."

"After a long day touring Old Nice and the main shopping district (Ave Jean Medecin) we just wanted a quick supper before returning to our hotel to organize and pack before our flight early the next morning. Thus we were just going to get quick take-out food or franchise food. But instead, we decided to walk around the block to see if anything appealed to us. Just by chance, we saw this place and the menu looked promising. All I can say is that we are lucky to have discovered this place, our last supper before flying home from Nice. The food was the real deal, deep authentic flavor without being too rich. It was a very nice change from the standard fare that one typically sees in the main tourist areas. So, if you 're in the area, it is worth a visit."

"We came with great expectations. Recommended by Michelin, and very good reports here. Chef once meilleur ouvrier de France. Opened nearly 10 minutes past 12. Service attentive, this was the best. Wine list could be better. Pricing reasonable. A bottle which is sold for €75 in La Pinede (robber barons in Cap d‘Ail) is €43 No choice of salads. Escalope de foie gras good, but this hot dish is served on marinated salmon, thus spoiling the latter. Carre d‘Agneau turned out to be three slim ribs of a miniature lamb, which is half of the carre. Sauce salty and not convincing. Turbot expensive, not served on the bone, and far from good. A sobering experience. Altogether on the level of a 3 star hotel restaurant. It could be a hedonist’s temple under the guidance of a good chef."
