"The atmosphere at Ronero will impress! I took 3 others to this inviting but intimate space. The tasteful ambiance let us focus on conversation and food. The black bean/feta appetizer with crisp plantains was an easy starter, and both salads were winners. The surprise hit for our table was the ceviche, served in a coconut milk broth (which I traditionally don't like). The meat dish (pork and mango with brussels dish) was too good; we ordered a second. The vegetarian entree (rice and saffron butternut squash) did not disappoint against its counterpart. Dessert was a denser and creamier take on flan, versus a rice pudding bowl, brought out and explained by the chef. Both were stellar for taking a basic treat to a complex and new level. We planned to explore the cocktail menu but ended up falling hard for the Cadejo Blanco (rum with pineapple, lime, cilantro and jalapeno) and sticking with it for the whole dinner. Do not miss the opportunity to treat yourself to Ronero; our table left debating who had the best time and meal last night!"
