"We only wanted main and dessert so they kindly rustled up a light amuse bouche as my guest dislikes olives etc....The chicken and veal were both very good; veg quite English (but probably catering to local requirements) and the desserts offered are mostly cake based, and rich. We loved the fake star ceiling as a piece of fun, and the staff were v pleasant without crowding us. My only grumble is the cream/butter reliance in most dishes though in the dearer range you could escape that."
