"When we arrived after our reservation, we were asked if we wanted to sit outside of straight and windy) or wait minutes for a table inside. we noticed that the restaurant was occupied at that time and in the next few minutes observed several other parties similar size arrive and sit immediately. at this place we asked about the status of our table and sat immediately in a section that had still a dose of open cabins. Moreover, we have indicated the online reservation that it was a special occasion (birth day), but no mention has ever been made of it and we decided not to ask."

"My daughter and I really like the food in all Il Foraio restaurants that we have tried (Coronado, Santa Monica and Del Mar), but we have found the settings and service of the restaurant staff at the Del Mar site to be unpleasant. The employees we treated were pretentious, unpleasant and inefficient. We waited for the service until the last time we had eaten there, that we almost gave up and left. Our water and tea glasses were never filled again, and our salad plates were sitting on the table during the duck, although we asked to remove them. My daughter loves the French toast served on Sunday brunch, but if not for the Pasta Putanesca, and that there is a long drive to another Il Fornaio site, I wouldn't return."
