"Some days you need a break of Ceviche and look for another kind of food. That was my case and I decided to try the mexican food at Lima. So, I decided to go to No Te Rajes mexican restaurant. Since your arrival you notice...the unfriendly sign SOLO EFECTIVO (only cash) on the window, so be careful, be sure to bring enough cash. For me this is a problem because I usually don't carry cash. The restaurant decorations is nice, with some Diego Rivera paintings aside of the cheap chairs and tables. The other thing I don't like is they don't offer Wi-Fi. For me, a restaurant that does not offer wi-fi is not offering a complete service, besides if they don't have TV's. Even the great Diego Rivera paintings became boring when you are waiting for your meals. Let me remark that for this restaurant the priority is to offer a low price instead of quality food. I ordered a Carnitas' Taco and when it arrived, (in a tortilla folded as a crepe) I just did not find the Carnitas in the taco, just beans and guacamole!!! (see the picture) The beans tasted OK and the guacamole also was OK, however carnitas nowhere. I also tried a Carne's Sincronizada, which includes two tacos. One of the taco (again as crepe) included the meat with chess and the other taco only... guacamole!!! Yes the price of the meals is really low, however the food quality as well. I paid Soles por Corona, Carnitas Taco, Meat Taco and Totopos (beans and Guacamole I would have prefered to pay a little more and have more quality food. This restaurant is recommendable only if you a looking for a place to save money in your meal. .For me, is not in my radar anymore."
