"For a little neighborhood restaurant, Villa Mozart can compete with the best of downtown DC. I loved my tuna tartare, which tasted fresh and had a hint of sesame oil. My rack of lamb was exquisite. Three large chops were coated in parmesan and flawlessly prepared, rare, juicy and tender. It was easy the best rack of lamb I have ever eaten . It was served on a crunchy race-cake bed, similar to the prized rice at the bottom of a Chinese rice cooker but better. The silken puree of green peas was so delectable I wished there 'd been more. The only negative was the basil sponge that accompanied a richly chocolate mousse. Both the texture and flavor of the sponge was like putting dandelion fluff in your mouth. I 'd have preferred more mousse and no sponge. This is definitely a restaurant I will recommend to others."

"We were a party of four and were dinner. the staff was very friendly. we had a problem with the service. two of our dinners came out, then there was a delay, the third came out, and then there was a long delay, and the fourth came out. this made it very unpleasant for the four of us if they are one of the happy to get their food first, they either have to let it cold with the rest of their party to eat or almost finish it before any other is served. the restaurant has opted for an award point of a white table cloth restaurant, where it is expected that attention is paid to a table being served together. the food ranged from very good to just good. I had a nativity very thin. to their wealth it was not too overcrowded. I'm not sure if the thin style was a choice or if I just arrived and ended. Someone else in our party had a NY steak that looked thick, and the bark on a spit with a sweet was a hit. there was a chicken shell (the one that took long time to get out) that was simply in order. on the ambiente it would have been good, except for the two television stations that show a political posting station. if they have to have the television, choose something in the middle of the road like hgtw, not a tracking channel."
