"I love Portuguese food but this was horrendous beyond believe the chicken was as if it was preheated and the potatoes are over cooked, weird smell, I barely touched my plate never again. My girlfriends tried it too and I can tell you they had even a worth experience than I did. I think this restaurant won't last long if they don't fix major issues"

"The order was 20 minutes late, so the food was cold and we had to reheat it. The order was also incomplete because they forgot our brownies. It was late and we had company over so we decided we would call them the next day. When we called they would offer no compensation at all, no coupons or discount for next time. Needless to say we will not be ordering from them again and I hope this does not happen to anyone else."

"Found this place really randomly.. was looking for a place with wifi to study with my laptop and turns out i found barros luco like this! I had my own lunch but the empanadas looked way too good so i grabbed 2(they are hugeee) (for like 3,75 if i remember well)!! I had the spinach and cheese ones and they were pretty good! Had a decent cappuccino with it which i highly needed! The staff was super sweet and i actually find the place to be a great quality/price spot. Will come back!"

"Our favorite grilled portugese style chicken in Montreal.
Chicken is marinated then cooked on charcoal.
1/4 chicken with your two choices of sides ( salad, vegies, fries are great ) generous servings for a merger 10-$12: This is unbeatable!We like it better than 2) La poule mouillée on Mont Royal avenue.We found better service during lunch time. Many students shares the premises since Concordia University is opposite the street."

"I've been going there for years. Do not get fooled by the looks of the place! The food is always delicious, the service is friendly. The place itself is small, you eat at the bar or by the window; no fancy anything. But the food more than makes up for the decor. The empanadas are yummy, and the breaded steak plate is generous and delicious; it comes with salad and sweet plantains. Definitely worth the visit!"
