"The food was such a treat, especially after being disappointed by our last few strays on our go to date night spot (Town Hearth). The steak tartare, cheese plate, duck breast and lamb were all to die for such a treat! We also added truffles to the risotto and enjoyed the entree as a side and would not do anything differently. My ONLY ‘complaint’ was our server... she wasn’t terrible, but she really was disappointing compared to the server assigned to both tables on either side of us. None of the food was presented as it was to the other tables, the menu was not properly explained in the least (we had no idea the 5g truffle add on was an additional $30 to the entree until we overheard the server beside us), and when asked for her entree recommendation, she shrugged her shoulders and responded with ‘the casserole tonight is actually pretty good if you’re into casseroles’... Not a TERRIBLE answer, just not exactly good, either. With that said, she wasn’t bad enough to ruin our wonderful culinary experience, but we will request a more seasoned (and refined) server for our future reservations."
