"TLDR: Small restaurant offering great Peruvian food in Alhambra.Run to Mancora to check out their wonderful selection of Peruvian eats! It's been a while since I had Peruvian food, so I was excited to check this place out. We came in for lunch on a weekday, and they were fairly busy. The person I came with is Peruvian, so this is a joint review!For the drinks, we got Chica Morada, which offers a unique grape-like, but not overly sweet flavor. We highly recommend this drink if you're looking to try something authentic. For the main dishes, we split the Ceviche and Loma Soltado. Wow! We loved the explosion of flavors both offered. The former was tangy and filled with different raw seafood bites and vegtables. The latter was savory and came with seasoned beef strips, fries and rice. Also, save room for dessert and get the Helado de Lucuma. It's rich and will definitley satisfy your sweet tooth!"

"I?ve been coming to this location for awhile now, but even more frequently in the past year! The owner, Helena is amazing!! I know this is a technically a boba joint but I always get almond slushes at milk tea stores and Helena somehow makes the best one...I get them with 1/4 sugar, which usually messes up the consistency a little, but they somehow stay smooth and not too icy when I get them here. I come here at least 2x a week and call in and just say, ?hi Helena!? and she knows who I am and what I want LOL. EDIT: Tracy, the owners? daughter, has been making me an almond milk tea slush, which I dare say is even better than the almond slush....if I could give this place 6* I would!!! Great service and always fast!"
