"My Daughter wanted Ice Cream We went to the right place. The service was excellent we arrived after 2 on a Thursday, and it was really quiet, so not sure how it is when busy, but doubt it would very different. We just wanted coffee and Ice Cream for my daughter, but I was intrigued by some of the flavours on offer. You can have a taster spoon for 25p, which is incredible value, so we ordered 2 of each. The Salted Pistachio and the White Chocolate with Horseradish were incredible. None of them disappointed."

"I went at 5pm so the first customer and the place was all empty. Service was prompt as expected. Had a drink 8£ not worth it. Can’t even rem the name. Then had the mix grilled for person. Although this was good quantity but the cuts were cheap. Doubt if they were real ribeye or sirloin. The chop was nice but the rest do it was — naaa . Didn’t really make a steak house for me. 28£. Sauce, Chips n salsa were included. Overall 2/5 for taste n value."

"We loved the food and the staff. We dropped in 3 times my kids loved it so much. The staff was always friendly. I would recommend reservations during their busy times but they were always able to accommodate us. It’s a great stop for some smal bites or for a meal."

"I've been going here for years. Just heard someone left a one star review as they were advised that the pub was not suitable for their Beagle dog. They had been in earlier and the dog was causing a bit of a disturbance, with the owners doing nothing. I was there with my dog. Excellent service. Water bowl provided and he got a treat for being a good boy !!"

"Things are definitely looking up again. After a rather tricky few months following surgery, it’s nice to be able to get out and about a bit again. Mum and I stopped in for an impromptu lunch at The Potting Shed a couple of weeks ago (on the way to The Scottish Juniper Festival at Summerhall) and I was really happy with the quick, tasty well-priced lunch we enjoyed. A few years back this had been my ‘pet bar’, as the Innis Gunn pop-up bar which we ran for the summer of 2012, so I have a real nostalgic love of this place. "Today hector’s for lunch with the girls who have seen their joys in the form of small tellers. for the squid that came with a delicious chili mayo, poutine and Spanish sausage with salsa. the squid was nice, the poutine was ok (what Bbq sauce and not the delicious gravure I had introduced) and the sausages were the selection of the boil for me, nice smokey taste. but the victorious shell was the mac and cheese side with truffle mayo. I would have been fed and eaten all day. the service was a bit as desired, but the food and the company made itself for it. wein was also reasonable."
