"Crawfish enchiladas were excellent. Fish, french fries and popcorn shrimp had absolutely NO seasonings. We went about 4:30pm and the wait to get our food took forever. (Alot of places are short staff we get that) Oysters on the 1/2 shell were good also."

"My wife and I stopped by the Hay Wire on the way back from Whitefish. Looking for a quaint local eatery with good food we found it! The place is very cosy with lots of paintings on the wall, many painted by the owner/chef....The 2 meals we ordered were very good fish and chips (red snapper) and a steelhead trout fillet on a bun. Lots of food, good quality, tasty, and well cooked. We will be back. The Hay Wire is a little jewel in Longview. Worth a stop next time you are driving through."
