"You might want a knife to butter your bread; you sure don?t need it for the incredibly tender meats. The two meat platter with burnt ends and brisket was $18. The brisket could hardly be picked up with the plastic fork it just fell apart. The burnt ends were cut in half with the same plastic fork. Several sauces to try, but the meats we so flavorful they aren?t needed. The sides were ok; about average."

"Can't go to Ottumwa without stopping by the Recover Room for a tenderloin. Thick white meat breaded enough for a crisp crunch served on a bun gently hanging over. Served up with french fries that are crisp right from the fryer. Thank you, crew, for never disappointing us from our drive down from Des Moines. "Omg her fried chicken sandwich is better than kfc, popeyes and hardees! the meat was soou good and super fat and juicy! I was super surprised! and the business and the bathroom were very clean and the staff was very nice! we will be coming back"
