"I have not stopped in here before but was glad that it was open on July 1st. We had lunch on our way to a friend's cottage. First off the water with lemons was very tasty! We were served delicious little assorted breads and finished them all - so good! I had one of the soup specials and a strawberry rhubarb dessert with creme anglaise. Both were excellent! My friend had the daily sandwich which she said was delicious. The restaurant style is quite old fashioned which seemed to suit the style of the house. The washrooms looked newly remodeled and were nice and we could see that the seemed to be a new patio outside. .The service was good with the waitresses both very helpful. The food was good quality and the price did seem on the high side. we would stop in again though."

"Our waiter hardly came to our table we went on my birthday on a Saturday night it was extremely crowded it was my first time there the drinks were good not strong enough for me that was delicious I really wished we had a better waitress she was too busy text on her apple watch she was getting worse because she had many tables. we got a bowl, and we never got a bowl because of the fact that it was extremely crowded, couldn't get a trace. but overall I would go back, but not at the weekend"
