"It has to be said that this is a tasca, not a restaurant. They have really good grilled pork, we had “lagartos” (one of the best I’ve ever had) and “cachaço” also well done. Bread and olives were really good. Now do not expect much from the French fries, they were oily, and the salad, normal Portuguese. The owners, are not able to attend more than three or four tables at the same time. When somebody arrives after that number of tables, they will tell you that you will have to wait for long. She was running in and out and some customers decided to go and grab the beverages from the refrigerator so they didn’t have to wait more. It can be an authentic Alentejo’s not fancy experience if you wish to know Portugal for real."
