"Tiny hole in the wall we ended up at because the 2 places we had planned on going to while on that side of town were closed that day. THANK GOD they were closed. This is an incredible place to eat/get takeout from. There's a tiny abuelita in the kitchen with other (mostly ladies in multiple generations and the food reflects that. The Salsa Verde was so bright and fresh! The other sauce that came with the tacos was deep, dark, almost mole level with coffee/chocolate tones and smoked chile flavors. I put it on the french fries we got as an appetizer and it was beautiful. Horchata was the best Mexican-type I've had in the area. Spices were fully there in the first small sip. Didn't have to Will most definitely return! (This is a newer business in the same space as a previous one that also made good food according to Mexican and Mexican-food-loving friends, but I had not been there before. Cash only! Totally worth hitting the ATM for it! Closed Tuesdays (I think?"

"A little bit pricey. But, what isn't these days. I was kind of bummed about the french fries. They used to fill the cup and then dump extra in the bag but I guess they don't do that anymore. I got a large cup of fries and not a single one more. The cheeseburger was great and so were the fries."

"Completely vegan!!! What a sweet treat for a mid-sized city in Indiana! I reliably order the orange “chicken” in the lunch special (available during the work week), which makes the meal a few bucks cheaper than it would be otherwise. The sauce was *not* spicy for someone who self identifies as having a (unfortunately) very low spice tolerance. If you’re ordering online, you may be able to ask for different spice levels in the “notes” section. Since the pandemic, we’ve ordered it to be picked up to go several times and it’s always been done on time and usually ready for us before we arrive! Very friendly family who runs the place. We love supporting Pinellia and getting to treat ourselves with their delicious food. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-01"
