"I have been here with small groups several times. It is always a bit of a novelty placing orders through the electronic system located at the end of each table, and the little seating niches make for quite an intimate dining experience. Food is quite reasonable, portions appropriate, and while not of a high quality grade, is always pleasantly satisfying. Service has a tendency to bit a bit hit and miss, and in busy periods is often genuinely lacking. For a quick and easy Japanese meal with good pricing, Mizuya is worth a try."

"Just a popped by for a quick cocktail to see what it was like since the changeover. We were the only patrons there at the time as it had just opened. Drinks were quite good, no wine menu atm. Food menu looked good but expensive....Would be tempted to return at a later time to check the vibe."

"The ambience is great but the biggest disappointment was their offerings. Of course you get a lot of beer offerings but if this place were to brew their own beers, it would be on a roll. The sides and accompaniments were satisfactory."
