"Another good Sunday lunch. We had starters of black pudding with mustard sauce and chicken paté. The we had the small beef and lamb roasts. All our food was very tasty. Prices are reasonable and service was good."

"Arrived in a group of six. Ordered our food. One of the choices we chose was not available which we were then told about so we changed our choice everything was okay. We was sat waiting for our food. All the food came out apart from one meal then Sat and waited 10 minutes for the last meal to come out to them be told they don't have any left this could have been said to us when ordering but it wasn't, as you can imagine it is not very nice for five people to be sat there all eating and one person not be eating. We then asked if there was any sort of complementary drink that could be offered as a form of compensation to then be told no. Sorry we cannot do that. Overall, the service was not very good and will unlikely be returning"

"Just enjoyed my first visit to Cardamon. I arrived at 19:30 on Monday 4th and there was only one other table occupied which was a bit of a surprise. The menu was presented smartly and showed a wide variety of interesting sounding dishes which were well explained. I chose the Meat Bilate Mirchi (stuffed pepper) and on the advice of the host the Staff Curry with Pilau rice. Both courses arrived very promptly and were very well presented. Both were highly flavoursome and would rank near the very top of all of the Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurants that I have visited over many many years. The service was very good without being too intrusive. The total bill came to just over £30 for the above mentioned dishes (but no sides) and one pint of Cobra which in my opinion is very good value for money given the outstanding quality of the food. All in all a very good meal and I will certainly visit again when staying in the Warrington Runcorn area."

"This is the first time we have ordered a takeout from China Rose and it won’t be our last. The food was delicious. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Can not fault it."
