"Full disclosure first. I’m a Woking local and use this bar regularly for drinks and a pint of the excellent Angelo beer. The team are always friendly and make you feel welcome. As a little bar it’s got a great reputation in its own right...as a place for a drink. But I don’t eat there much and I did Friday and felt it was well worth taking the time to write a review. At for a two course lunch it’s astonishing value for the quality delivered. It’s a small menu, meaning you know it’s done right. My starter was meatballs with a fresh rocket leaf salad and a wonderfully rich tomato sauce, just on the right side of garlic and seasoning. For main I had the chicken Milanese. The chicken was moist, a breadcrumb coating that added to the pepper/spice of the chicken. The highlight for me though was the sides. When the sides are done so well you know that the rest is gonna be brilliant. Lovely Mediterranean vegetables and mini roasted/pan fried potatoes were moreish. Lots of good places cropping up in Woking now, this is one of, if not the best of them."

"This looked like a nice traditional Surrey pub from the outside and the beer garden looked very pretty with easy access from the carpark. The other customers there were very pleasant, warm and talkative. So, that is the good part out of the way. Not so good was the bar experience. Firstly, to get the bar maids attention to actually serve was a slog and she looked most put out that she had end a conversation and do some work. Strange that. The amount for two drinks was £7.20 and I offered a credit card to pay. She said the minimum amount with a cc is £10.00. I paid in cash and enjoyed our drinks outside. So, on the face of it a nice pub but human interaction was awful."

"Lunch for four was delicious. Mackerel/ pea/ mint, and homemade humble crackers as appetizers, artichokes and plaice for the net, with hash browns and French beans. Would have wanted more Veggie selections. Large selection of wines, gins and soft drinks. Charming in front of the house team."

".....The food was very appetizing.... These was on my table which I tried in this first visit of mine Sea food soup Rasam Appam Kallappam Coconut rice Thilapai Fish curry... Masala tea. I strongly recommend you to visit this place and relish all the dishes as much as you can"

"I was in a food hall last weekend, I want to write first of all about the rude waiters, who waited 20 minutes to come to the table where I was sitting, when the waiter came to me, he had a very indifferent face, in front of which I decided to take the tray, when I came to the table on which the trays were standing, the first tray I got was dirty, after that I saw a girl who, as I understood, works there and decided to ask her why the tray was dirty, since I understood that the girl does not speak English well, but no looking at this, the girl was very polite, unlike the waiters, I wanted to get to know her better, but she did not understand English, and as I understood, she did not have time to get to know her. Coming to the food, the hot is very good but the chicken is dry, I also liked the sweet pastry, I got the shortbread which goes really well with the coffee. I think I will visit Wisley Garden again in the spring, but when I do I will come to the Food Hall again, I hope you will correct the mistakes I have posted here."
