"This was our first dinner of month long travels in the area and so it also was our first experience of an excellent new, post Covid model for outstanding small restaurants. Chef Charly and everything else Agnes provide remarkably fresh, personally prepared and beautifully presented dishes from a limited set menu for a small number of tables and lucky diners. Wine list also is short but well chosen and well priced...as was the 40 yr old Calvados that capped our evening. Absolutely everything was spectacular including the gracious, cozy atmosphere. Our favorite was the almost foam like, ultra fine shaving of Jamon Iberico de Bellota. We subsequently learned that this small is beautiful model now is used by many exceptional chefs throughout France to allow them to show their creative talents and break the economic grip of scale.
