"When we used to frequent Rub Ribs BBQ, I always noticed Tatang's just across the street. One time, I finally had the time to give them a try only to find out they were out of stock. Another attempt still didn't feel sure at first, and I went in and tried ordering the Lechon Classic. The nice lady I spoke with accepted me as their last customer for the day and found a way to get me something non-spicy. Awesome!
AMBIENCE
Their establishment was really tiny, so tiny that it seemed meant for take-outs rather than dine-ins.
FOOD
Lechon Classic was amazing! Since they served their lechon Cebu-style, my order came with lemongrass within the meat. That gave me such an appetizing and refreshing experience in every bite. I didn't even need sauces or dips (though I had a little bit of soy sauce). Skin was thin and crunchy yet easy to bite through and had tolerable saltiness. Meat was tender and everything was easy to cut.
SERVICE
A big THANK YOU for giving me the chance to finally taste Tatang's version of Cebu-style lechon!"

"I visited here in January 2020. I am afraid to say that the restaurant is not good. I ate chicken vindaloo. the original is one of western India cuisines and known as using vinegar and hot spice. On the contrary, their dish was not hot and not sour. also, it was sort of bitter and not suitable for rice. In addition to that, their dishes are not cheap. To conclude, they try to make fusion cuisines. however they forget original features."

"Not your ordinary noodles. It's your universal noodles.

Am not sure why the chain used "Universal Noodles" for their Philippine branding. But I am sure their noodle soup is not just a fluff. The base soup, which, if prepared like the ones in their Japan branches, is simmered for 20 hours to achieve the intensely meaty, opaque pale tonkotsu broth (beware, the broth here in our country may have lots of cellulite floating). On a rainy afternoon after bank errands, I really cared less, so I ate those fats anyway.

Their Salcedo branch is tucked in Signa Designer Residences' ground floor, along Valero St. (you can get off PBCOM if you're commuting and just walk). One can customize their bowl - from choosing the spices to the firmness of the noodles to be used. I didn't bother doing it, I checked the Chef's recommendation button and am good. The place is small, but they did make a good job designing it you won't feel cramped at all.

I got the original king (more commonly known as butao). With what i paid for (P390), i did enjoy their condiments and side dishes - the ones on the table are salt, sesame seeds, chili powder, pepper, sprouted monggo, and spicy cabbage (like the Korean's kimchi).

If you are looking for something warm, rich, and wouldn't mind adding more adipose tissue to your tummy and you are in Salcedo Village, visit this place, you'd enjoy their soup!"

"I've been to a lot of restaurants around the metro but my friends do know that I'm not very frequent in Makati area. It's always a dilemma for me whether to go to Makati or not because 1) it's hard to find a parking, 2) I'm not familiar with the streets and there's a lot of one-ways and 3) lastly, I find it too far (though I only live in the neighboring city). ????

And true as it can be, I'm so happy that my previous Zomato FMU, which was held at The Belle & Dragon, made my visit to Makati a worthy one!

I find The Belle & Dragon's menu very unfathomable - in a GOOOOOOD way! They have their own way of making their dishes special that I was not able to try before from any other restaurant, and that's exactly the WOW factor we should all be looking for from the restaurants we go to!

Make sure to start with their Wanton Nachos as your appetizer and prepare to be thrilled how the rest of your picks will taste! ????????

Here are the sumptuous dishes we were able... read more"

"Nomads Barbeque Refuge is one of the hidden gems we discovered while exploring Poblacion. We love the place so much we decided to share it to fellow foodies by way of an event.

April 29, 2017 - Meet Up and Eat Up with FoodGrammerPh organized by my homies. Think of this as an event to bring foodies together.

They specialize in Mongolian fare and when they meant the adjective to the core. Man, the food is undeniably good, careful created and all of the adjectives synonymous to delicious.

Hainanese Chicken. This dish made me giddy the moment i took my first bite. There is hainanese rice inside the chicken!!!! How awesome is that? I dont wanna ho into detail on how awesome this dish is. I dare you to try it and see for yourself.

Salmon Bao. Nomads set the standard for baos. This is wickedly good! What made this good? Simple, it all comes down to the bao! What they use is soft and has the right texture. And oh, i love Salmon.

Orange Chicken, Duck Noodles were served during the event and everyone has nothing but praises. It goes to show that Nomads is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Mongolian Fare.

Peace Out!

Reich"

"Been here twice, and I couldn't say anything else but food is great.
Better service compare to the services of Ortigas Branch.
Just make sure that you will read the menu and don't just rely on the order taker.
Why? We went there for birthday lunch. So we asked what were the foods for sharing because we were a group of 15.
One particular lady order taker told us that all food for sharing doesn't have rice.
Without glancing at the menu, we asked here what were her recommendations.
She recommended Jambalaya which was for sharing, we ordered 3 of that.
And so we ordered that and chicken and some other stuff.
Together with the other viands, we ordered 16 rice.
And when the Jambalayas were served, we requested to lessen the ordered rice from 16 to 8. Obviously, we didn't know what Jambalaya was until then. And the order taker did not even care to inform us when she knew that we are overloaded with rice already. And what pissed us off? they don't wanna cancel the... read more"
