"If you saw the movie The Menu and thought you might like an experience somewhat like that, then welcome aboard. The tapas were indeed really good but the manager is a character (which is a polite phrase for it). Bowen doesn’t have a lot of fine restaurants but I think they might have let this fact go their head. They make it abundantly clear that they only want you here for a limited time, and hustled us out even though the next sitting hadn’t fully arrived and there were still several open tables. I think that when you spend over a couple of hundred dollars, you deserve not to be hustled and to be spoken to nicely. It verges on rude and both Barcelona and the Tuscany next door need a lesson on manners. If you’re willing to put up with this, enjoy. Were it not for this, I’d have given them better just based on some of the dishes. Even though outdoors, it might be nice at this pricepoint to have some charming tablecloths (instead of industrial) as well."

"Very disappointing experience. It took an hour to receive our amuse bouche and in this time we had been offered one drink and finished it. Service was inattentive. We had to ask for another drink. Starter was good, generous portions. Steak was cooked to my preference but luke warm. The cheesecake and lava cake dessert was also delicious. However I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to others"

"Have frequented the bar here whilst staying in the hotel and found the staff to be fabulous so attentive. Remembering our drinks as we arrive back from slopes looking after our son making him feel welcome too. Great Ceasers (bloody Mary's) and the food is great too. Tuesday nights is the Swedish night and it appears to bring skiers and boarders from all over Whistler, young crowd and the place to be. Staff very busy but our service never faulted highly recommend."

"I love this place. they are just a small place with a small menu, but they have several delicious, progressive vegan options and even a vegan wellington have! so beautiful to see a vegan dish with pastries for once! they have actually also desserts one or two good vegans. it is hard to get good vegan desserts in whistler, so it is great that they have them."

"Being annual visitors to Whistler we have made a visit to The Brickworks for the last three years. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere food and drink selection but they have really stepped up this year! The food was amazing, the addition of more gastro style dishes was ace! I especially linked the bone in pork loin! Balanced menu with lots of non meat options made it perfect for the non carnivores in our group. The staff make this place extra relaxed with great non intrusive service, special shout out to Kim, Nerissa and Bram! Get in there if you hit whistler!"
