"My partner and I on 1st visit to the Cowshed( formerly Horns of Boningale building) had a wonderful lunch and dessert today. We were made very welcome by all staff and received excellent food both in presentation and taste. We will be return visitors and will recommend to our friends and family. "Just got back from the re-opening of ‘Bistro 81’ formerly The Hungry Bistro and the place looks amazing!! I had the Patè for starter, Pork belly for main and the Honeycomb cheesecake for pudding! Everything was perfect! Including the service and now they have Rekorderlig on tap which is a bonus, unfortunately I couldn’t leave my food alone long enough for a photo’s . Such a lovely atmosphere and still is the best eatery in Wolverhampton by far! Thank you for a lovely night and great service guys so happy to see you back better than ever!"

"We were shown to our table by an older friendly lady but the orders were taken by a younger member of staff who you could tell wasn’t interested. The meals took a while to be delivered to the table but that was ok as we were friends having a catch up. I’ve never had chips so hot which makes a nice change, my sauce didn’t arrive and my friends ‘well done’ steak was bright pink in the middle, no one was visible or came to ask if everything was ok. When the plates were removed we told the waitress about the sauce and steak but she didn’t say anything. We ordered desserts which were fine and then we usually order a hot drink after our meal but again no one was around to ask so we didn’t bother. When paying we were asked if everything was ok and had a refund for the steak after telling them that things weren’t ok. She did say a new chef was on their own for the first time that night but it was no excuse for the mistakes. Doubt we will visit again as the previous time we visited the service wasn’t great."
