"The tacos were very good and it was nice to see proper lengua ones listed on the menu. The restaurant is nicely set up and renovated but the space isn't huge so it can fill out fast. The staff is very friendly but they need a little time to work some kinks out. Our tacos came out first and very quick but we had to wait a while after eating the tacos for our chips and salsa, which came out with our dessert milkshakes. They'll be great once they get the food timing down!"

"This restaurant is a jewel. The decor was beautiful. In addition to tiles and carvings, they were decorated for Dia De Los Muertos. Wait at 1:30 on Friday. The food was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and attentive. I recommend the Enchiladas con mol."

"The taco salad is huge and is made better than any of the Mexican restaurants in Medford. Chile Rellenos are tasty. Ive ordered a few of the combo meals before and they have all been good quality. I recommend Jalapeños Taco Shop! God Bless the cooks!"

"The decor of the restaurant was beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive and always had a smile. The whole staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to my mother and had her wear a sombrero while they sang. I cannot say enough about the food it was delicious, reasonably priced for the size of the portions. Definitely worth the drive from Uncasville to West Hartford, will be going back."
