"This was our first time here, from the Midwest. We loved it. We had the chicken and pork dumplings which you take a small bite into, drink the soup/broth and then eat the dumpling, was light and a delicious bite. The fried rice both the chicken and the pork (pork is like a pork chop placed on top see photo) was really good! We have the infused cucumbers as well not pictured and the garlic green beans which were amazing. The pear martini pictured definitely was strong but a good balance, definitely a little punch in your mouth.The overall experience was great. Family style experience and the staff were super friendly.Make reservations for this place ahead of time. Family friendly and fast service.For roughly 6 adults we easily spent 400 between drinks and food!"

"This was by far the best meal I had during my trip to New Orleans. Recommend the beef noodles, garlic green beans, house fried rice, wonton soup, and short ribs. I am sure any plate you order here will be fantastic. Restaurant was busy but plates came out quick. The solo server also did a fantastic job! Would recommend to anyone visiting NOLA."

"Holy Moly! I consider myself to be an extremely picky eater. I find it very difficult to find tasty food. If you haven't eaten here- YOU MUST TRY IT. When my bf said that Nan Zhou makes their own noodles, I was like, *rolling eyes* I'm sure that's a stretch. He wasn't lying. When I went to the bathroom, you could hear, between the walls that they were beating the noodle dough. I was impressed. Our food finally came, I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup-OMG, I DIE! The soup wasn't super spicy but it had nice kick to it. I could have easily added more sriracha. The broth tasted like it was made from beef bone broth, the noodles were soft and pillowy, and the steamed dumplings were super. Can't wait for my next trip to Nan Zhou!"

"This was an incredible journey. I really feel like I got to the heart of the dumpling here. Honestly though, the sui mai dumplings, I could have eaten two portions. They were so rich yet balanced and perfectly cooked. Everything we had was amazing including the wonderful service. Shout out to William. Also, I have had plenty of egg tarts, but seriously folks, these are some of the best I?ve ever had. Absolutely fresh and so creamy, the perfect end after a spicy/salty meal. It?s only been a few hours, and I?m already planning my next trip. I hear they?re opening a location in Midtown soon, so definitely keep an eye out for that. Worth the hype! Ya gotta go. ????"

"Public Service Announcement: If you have sinus issues try the mustard. Not only will it clear up any cold/flu, but it will clear out your sinuses with one drop on an egg roll. Which speaking of egg rolls, were stout and plentiful with an even mix of balanced ingredients. Was not a fan of the wonton egg drop soup, but that could have been because I lost half my tastebuds earlier in the meal when I grossly underestimated the power of the mustard. I don't know what they make it out of, but it's nuclear."

I grew up in China so I have very high standard for Chinese food and this restaurant met my expectation. service was also top notch. very detail oriented as well, which I could even tell from the nice take out boxes they used. only downside was the super long waiting time (2.5 hours! but I guess it was for a good reason."
