"Afternoon Happy 4th to ALL Yelpers! 1st Foremost, I wanted to get that outta the way, just in case the 4th is a blur, lol. I pulled this hideaway gem up off Yelp. My Wife, Children, Sister in law, nieces, nephew, family friend, and I were on our way to celebrate my other Sister in law's Earth Day. Back on topic: We was greeted at the door by the owner, and made to feel like family. The menu is extemsive and it took a while to make final decisions, lol. If you're ever in the Aiken, South Carolina area, please be sure to stop by and get your fix of authentic soul food."

"Great down home southern food. I tried the pork chop dinner and was not disappointed! The pork chop was fried perfectly and the sides were fresh and flavorful. Definitely a great place when you need some good ol' comfort food!"
