"We were worried about trying the Rickhouse after seeing some not so savory reviews, but we decided to give it a shot. Our party left satisfied and full. Sarah Beth was our server and she was great! She gave us recommendations, answered questions about the menu, super friendly, and she was quick. Even as the restaurant started to fill up and she got busier, her service was great. We visited on a Saturday evening and got there right as they opened. We didn't have reservations but we were seated quickly. It does seem like they get pretty busy, so it's probably best to make reservations, and we just got lucky. We ordered mussels and bruschetta for the table (they also bring out hot buttered buns). It was my first time ever trying mussels and they were delicious! The sauce they were in was creamy and flavorful. The bruschetta was also pretty good. I got the blueberry bourbon salmon and hubby got the steak linguine. The salmon was tasty but I will say, the couscous that comes with it is pretty sweet. It does say berry couscous, and I personally liked it, but I can see a lot of people maybe being turned off by how sweet it is. I had the blueberry sauce put on the side and I think I preferred it that way to control the sweetness and balance it out with the couscous. Hubby's steak in the linguine was juicy and tender. Very creamy and delicious! We finished off dinner with the bourbon chocolate bread pudding and some coffee. Sooooo yummy. My father in law got the cookie dough cheesecake (the slice is big and very rich, perfect for 2). Overall we were very pleased with our visit to the Rickhouse. It's a casual joint, but a little more upscale than the brewpubs and bar food you get when checking out the distilleries all day. Us out-of-towners recommend it!"

"Stopped in for lunch between distillery visits. Husband had brisket dinner brisket and 2 sides; fried potatoes and mac cheese. I had brisket sandwich and FF. Also had cornbread and bought a piece of chocolate cake to take home. All the food was great. Prices very reasonable. Wished we had time to go again."
