"We came here for a birthday celebration, and chose the full ides menu. I also chose the non alcoholic pairing, being the driver, and would highly recommend this option due to the variety of fascinating drinks I was given! The bread with peanut butter was a crowd favourite, and every dish was presented with such care and detail. Definitely a fancy dining option, but worth it for special occasions!"

"We visited the Wesley Anne for drinks and dinner. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting with the fire burning and candles on the tables. The food was better than the standard pub grub and very satisfying. The Vegetarian tasting plate was filling and would have been enough, but no, onwards we forged. Hubby had the pork chop, daughter had the lentil and vege pie and I had the gnocchi. All meals were very yummy. A great place."

"I love the pork chop with spring rolls and rice vermicelli. It is very yummy. The menu is excellent with lots to choose from. However I find the place to be rather noisy and staff service is average."

"Attended the store in Melbourne CBD and order the veggie spring rolls with salad and noodles, my friend always goes here and gets soy sauce but that day they gave us a light special sauce, it unfortunately had fish sauce in it which neither of us eat and were not told about considering we ordered veg option and there was a vegan option also you with assume you would be told about the fish sauce. We asked for a new dish with no fish sauce and was asked why we couldn't eat the dish we were served, my friend advised because she only at veg and then i was asked what my problem was. I felt the service was rude, yes a lack of communication from both sides but i have never experienced such a hard time to get my dish replaced."

"We were super excited about Nuri's opening up in Melbourne. We've been to the original in Ubud Bali and we were regulars at the Canggu one when we lived there for two years. We were not disappointed by Nuri's Melbourne, its almost as good as Canggu. Try: The ribs (average person only needs the small size) The Lychee martini Nasi Gorang We've been here 4 times now and its been brilliant every time."

"We were extremely disappointed with our experience at The Botanical. We stumbled across this after a walk through the gardens, wanting a drink and an early evening meal. From start to finish the service was horrible. The wait staff were not engaged and honestly quite rude. They walked past our table on multiple occasions, looked at our empty glasses and left them there, not offering another drink even though it was quiet when we visited. The staff were too busy talking amongst themselves to care about their paying guests. The atmosphere was completely unwelcoming and we felt awkward the whole time having the owner standing over us (we sat outside on the street), yet not bothering to serve us. The food was overpriced and lack lustre. The only positive, it has a big wine/drinks list if that's your thing. I would never spend another cent at this establishment."
