"Hidden Gem. Recently stayed at the newly renovated Rendezvous Studio Hotel...Monday the 7th. I thought it was fantastic... the rooms were very well done and very comfortable. the overall look and feel of the hotel was really well done and modern. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, especially our server Matt, we even made a point to thank the Head Chef for the food as it was fantastic! we shared the buffalo chicken wings... OH... MY...GOD... AWESOME!! The ribs werer amazing and my partner had the eye fillet, very good...thanks to Katherine for making our checking out a smooth one. we loved our stay so much were are going to book again for Australia day!"

"My bf and I visited this restaurant a few years back and it was not a great experience. we ordered a serving of steaming shanghai pigeon, but had to wait 25 minutes and the restaurant was empty. When we asked the waitress, she said that the kitchen staff needed time to cook them. or more than they have forgotten our order because we have received our food 5 minutes after. whatever the reason was, it was simply not acceptable to wait 25 minutes on a dump. we were reluctant to come back this time, but for the sake of research, we made another visit and young, we were not one for a surprise when we were in the restaurant, we could see the difference in the inner, saw it newer...read more"

"We had an awesome time at Amano! Manuel was very kind, welcoming and passionate about the dining and sensory experience you can live at Amano. From the explaination of the restaurant's name, to the sourcing of quality raw ingredients, from the history of dishes to the selection and matching of flavours at the palate! We tried the signature entree dish Capesante mare e monti, which was delicious, to then move to our absolute favourite: Pappardelle with such a mouth watering sauce of slow cooked lamb and mashroom ragu...to a super tender kangaroo loin steak! A true mixture of traditional Italian flavours revisited from a modern Australian angle. All of this in a setting to die for: litterally less than two meters from the riverfront with the city skyline in the backdrop...ideal both in winter and summer. We will certainly come back!"

"We have enjoyed the beef Pho at Viet Hoa in Perth for several years. Recently we went again to find the Pho is way too salty now. Once it was a perfect balance but now, all you taste in your mouth is salt. In addition...to this, what happened to the fresh basil that accompanied the Pho? This time we got a little bit of coriander. Perhaps you've changed Chefs but please reduce the salt."
