"This is one of the places that I wanted to go to before I even moved to southern California and I finally had the chance this weekend. It was well worth the wait. My husband ordered the double bacon cheese burger with zucchini fries and I the chickenteriyaki. I wasn't crazy about the sauce, wasn't bad just not my thing. But the chicken well cooked and seasoned. The burgerswas absolutely amazing. Seriously one of the best burgers I have ever had."

"If you get off I-10 while traveling, you'll likely just dart into Applebee's or Cracker Barrel. Chain places. We all do when we are traveling. Please stop that and go here. Finally broke out of my breakfast routine here and ordered the Mesilla Queso burger. Lordy! What a thing...nice size patty, lots of green chile and queso. But the muffin/biscuit thing was a LOT of mushy bread. Ask for it without the top part of the bun. This was delish! Go with the fries though. The o-rings were kinda bland. We frequent this place every Saturday for breakfast. The chicken fried steak and eggs and the Rio Grand hash plate (get the green) is plenty of food with LOTS of flavor. The pancake is as big as a car wheel and a Mexican Coke with anything is always good. And seriously, the cook knows how to baste an egg. You know how many people say they do and don't. But the last time we popped in it was near lunch time. So I went with the burger. Glad I did. I'll branch out more with the menu now. We love this place. It's not much to look at but the service is friendly and on point. It can take forever to get your food out. Seriously...like forever sometimes. That's why 4 and not 5 stars. But if you have the time for a leisurely meal and some hand made grub...this is your spot."

"Quaint family restaurant. Country chic interior. Serves breakfast, lunches and dinner. The wife and I went for breakfast. The service was outstanding. Drinks ordered and delivered promptly. The cups were large enough that I never finished it. Food wasdelivered hot. Can't ask for anymore. The breakfasts ordered were delicious, had large portions but with one minor complaint,the country potatoes. It was not what I was expecting. So ask questions, do not assume. Otherwise a pleasant experience whiletraveling."

"I wanted to pick up because I believed a good bbq chicken and I wanted to support a local business. I ordered the 2 st bbq chicken plate with collar green and dressing. the scratched greens were decent, but everything else was not good. was not depicted a truthahnbein with rice, a side kartoffeln and mac n cheese. the truthahnbein had no taste, and the rice floated in the heavy. the kartoffels melted like water. there was a sign as soon as they go that says no refund unless something is missing. sadly, everything went into the müll. I won't eat here again."
