"Wife and I dropped in for lunch because it was across the street from an antique store where we were shopping. Had no expectations but we were very impressed. Got a half Oyster PoBoy and a cup of Gumbo and it was the best fried oysters I've had in several years! They were large and perfect! The Gumbo was full of Gulf Shrimp and very tasty! The 1/2 order of Onion Rings was large and the recipe is incredible also, so I assume that the other menu items are as tasty. Service and atmosphere is great as well. We will be returning to this place!"

"Our first time on the roof terrace. A very pleasant atmosphere. Wednesday is fried chicken night. Fried chicken, potatoes, green collar and maize bread. It was all delicious. Make sure and ask for the house made hot sauce!"

"Okay so Ms. Pearls made my 50th BDay celebration the best! Derrick came out and fried up the Whiting Fish, it was fresh right out of the grease and it was delicious! Definitely a favorite of the night, but wait it did not stop there the tarter sauce was to die for not to mention the fried corn, baked beans and mixed veggie. I can't thank him and his Aunt Mattie Swift enough. XOXOXO"
