"I give the 5 stars I think his name was russels. it was 5:30 and he tried everything alone. he made a great job and kept his cool take orders, prepared the food and served the meals. he was looking for his helpers, but from the time we left, he was still alone. I gave him a very good tip!"

"As a Northerner, fried chicken isn’t as part of the culinary fabric as it is in the South, so naturally I was looking forward to trying all I could. This little place was the standout. The sides were really good, highly recommend the rice and gravy. But the chicken, that’s the star of the show. The spices were perfect and let me tell you the crunch…it left me speechless at the time. Just go if you’re in Montgomery. Just go and experience that first bite of chicken and tell me it wasn’t worth it. Dare you."

"This was my first visit to this restaurant and the food was amazing! I ordered the smothered fried chicken wings with beef gravy and it was heavenly. I enjoyed my food so much that I ordered three more wings with the beef gravy. I had a side order of collards with turkey bits and every bite contained turkey and my other side was green beans with brisket. Yummy! The owner was so friendly and hospitable and I couldn't leave without filling the tip jar. If you're ever in Montgomery, hit up this joint because the food is outstanding!"

"Fried chicken skins! first I thought that was gross, but omg was delicious! the teig was just mouth water! cheese and charcuterie board big meat and cheese (made in the house, I think? the sauces they had on the side were the perfect balance of sweet to go with the cheese."
