"As always, the food was delicious; we’ve loyal costumer ever since it was under the railroad tracks. That said, we told our server two different times we had a buy one get one free coupon. When the bill was brought, we were told that we’d ordered from the wrong menu. This wasn’t the first time that had happened. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be going back."

"We’ve eaten at j. Gilbert’s a hand full of times and I will say this was the most disappointing. I ordered a KC strip that was cooked Ok but the steak was still tough and didn’t have great flavor. The better half had a pork chop that was under cookedAnd was extremely fatty. I ordered the sorbet which was horrible. The replaced it for the Creme Brûlée which was fine. For a for two people I expect better. Any chain steakhouse is better"

"Very very noisy with sports and TVs all over, but I think that's to be expected. The food was actually pretty good.....had burgers/fries and onion strings. Drinks were good too. Service, while good for the most party, seemed to be marginal w/a slight attitude. It was early on a Saturday night and they weren't busy, so I'm not sure what was up with that. We'll most likely go back because as mentioned, the food was pretty good."
