"When we arrived after making a reservation for 7:00 on February 14 th. They told us they had no record of the reservation! The person seating customers said most of the time the owner doesn't notify him of the reservations on open table. Call if you want a reservation"

"Stumbled into this tiny 4 table hole in the wall for breakfast after the Saturday market. The two sisters who run this Whole in the wall really enjoy cooking. Sitting at the family table we were told not to take the vitamins. The food was freshly prepared to our liking. Can 't wait to go back. The French toast was delicious and the Chiliaquiles came with a choice of sauces and compliments- egg or chicken."

"The highlight of our visit this time since February 2020 was our fantastic server, Carlos. He is the reason for our 5 star rating. Carlos was extremely attentive and helpful. This year's all you can eat has changed since our last visit in 2020. (preCovid) We were a group of 6....2 had the all you can eat for 395 pesos ...for this it is unlimited ribs, pork, and bratwurst....this year no more steak. There was also onion soup, green salad, and home made potato salad along with Modelo Especiale...no longer offering the Modelo Negra. I had the schnitzel with egg and anchovy for 295 pesos ...2 generous pieces along with one side of your choice so i chose the sauerkraut. For additional sides, it was 55 additional pesos so i chose the hashbrown potatoes and asked for it to be extra crispy and it was. The schnitzel was very crispy which i had asked for and the gravy very good, but the sauerkraut was just okay. Our friends had the beef rouladen...one piece with one side and my friend said it was very tasty and really enjoyed it. Another friend ordered the cordon bleu...one piece along with one side as well and our other friend had the smoked pork chops and she got 2 huge thick pieces of pork chops along with a side. She also said her meal was delicious. The last time in 2020, the service was not good...we had to wait very long to have the all you can eat ribs replenished but this year, we lucked out with Carlos, and he was always attentive knowing when to refresh with more ribs and beers without being intrusive. The 5 star rating was mainly due to the fantastic service by our server, Carlos, and when we return again, we will make sure we get to sit at Carlos' table section. Thank you so much, Carlos, for being a ROCKSTAR SERVER!!! Alemana is very fortunate to have you on their staff as you made our evening that much more enjoyable!"
