"Visited for breakfast recently. Waited mins for a cup of tea that came when I was already over half way through my food.... overheard a family having the same issue with drinks and they were told the restaurant didn't have enough cups!? we arrived...quite close to the end of breakfast service so i'm assuming the breakfast we received was because they had maybe run out? I ordered scrambled egg on toast, I can only describe the bread as kingsmill scrambled egg was average. Not what I expected when paying It's clear from other reviews that the lunch/dinner is popular here. Perhaps should focus on these areas rather than breakfast as they clearly struggled and the food was poor."

"We had lunch and dinner here a few times, pork larb (minced pork salad) is always good, but don’t order it to be too spicy if you cannot handle spice, mild or medium will do just fine for most people I guess. We recently tried...the Bangkok set, which came with a dish of prawns, stir fried chicken, chicken tom yam soup, and rice for The deal was pretty good at just However, it was disappointing that the prawns were burnt and they still decided to serve it, as seen in the photos attached. I bet the prawns were not really fresh too as the flesh are stuck to the shells when we tried to peel them off. "We have been many times before and as my youngest son later commented this was by far the worst experience we have had here. We were a party of 7 celebrating my wife's birthday (later grudgingly acknowledged with a complimentary glass of wine . In no particular order rude, unsmiling, disinterested waitress (the manageress said she was one of their top performers! . Indifferent food quality £31.50 for a shared mixed hanging kebab with cold prawns (we didn't risk sending them back to be re heated, or worse.... and bullet like lamb koftas. Food, cutlery, serviettes carelessly dispatched on the table (iphones are expensive you know! a card machine thrust into my face with me having to extract a please before I paid, and oh yes, a 10% service charge automatically added to the bill (we were too beaten to argue the toss by that stage . We were offered 20% off our next visit, but why would we want to go again? Let's face it, there are other places in Alderley Edge."

"Friday lunch time was probably not the best time to try for a table without a booking, but we got a table for 4 outside without any problems. It was a little cool until the sun came out from behind the clouds and then it heated up. There is no shade, so it might pay to have a hat and sunglasses on warm days. Managed to get our orders in easily enough and food came out quite quickly. There seemed to be some confusion between our table and the one next to us, but we all got our food correctly. Very enjoyable lunch."
