"First I want to start off by saying I have been a returning customer of Joi for years however after this dining experience it was a turn off. I dined alone and my bill was over $75 plus tip I spent a total of $100 for this experience. I received my food and drinks at a timely manner and I would’ve hope so because there was only myself and one other person in the restaurant. To see what I ordered see pictures. My problem wasn’t the food it was the lack of service I received at the end of my dining experience. I ordered the pork ramen but hadn’t eaten much of it at all so I asked for a to go bowl and asked if the noodles could be separated from my broth (because as we all know the noddles will swell if it is kept in the same container) and he told me no that he couldn’t because they were low on to go containers. So he put my ramen in a small cup tuber-ware. I was flabbergasted when he gave it back because I knew I hadn’t eaten that much of my ramen and he would’ve needed at least two bowls to fit my left overs. He didn’t give me all of the ramen that was in my bowl. Now I’m left with nothing but noodles and no broth. Then I asked him for more sauce for my spicy edamame to take Togo and he gave me chili oil and 3 packets of soy sauce. ? I am very disappointed with Joi. I’m not even complaining about the price but I expect if I’m going to pay $100 for just one person I expect good service my entire dining experience to the end so I can enjoy the remainder of my food and not have wasted my money. The left overs went in the trash. I paid for a bowl of pork Ramen and got noodles with hardly any broth and that’s not what I paid for. I’m extremely disappointed. I drove over an hour and thirty minutes so I came along way to not get what I paid for. Apparently they are under new management or getting some renovations done I’m not sure what my waiter was trying to convey on why they don’t have the proper To-go containers."

"Despite our hurried visit to Jinya Ramen Bar, the experience left a lasting impression, primarily due to the superb broth they serve. Even with our attention divided and preoccupied with other matters, we couldn't help but appreciate the remarkable quality of their ramen. We sampled a variety of options from the menu, including the Shrimp Wonton Ramen, Jinya Chicken Ramen, and Karaage Chicken Ramen. Amidst our distractions, one aspect remained consistently outstanding—the broth. It was undeniably exceptional, boasting rich, savory flavors that elevated the entire dining experience. The Shrimp Wonton Ramen presented plump shrimp wontons bathing in a broth that could only be described as heavenly. The intricate blend of seasonings in the broth showcased the kitchen's attention to detail and their commitment to delivering a memorable dish.In the Jinya Chicken Ramen, the tender chicken slices harmonized beautifully with the delectable broth. Despite our distractions, the quality of the broth shone through, providing a comforting and satisfying experience.Even amidst the busy atmosphere, the Karaage Chicken Ramen managed to impress. The crispy karaage chicken added a delightful texture, and the broth seamlessly tied all the components together. It was evident that the same care and dedication went into crafting this dish as with the others.Though our visit was rushed, the broth at Jinya Ramen Bar left a lasting impression. Despite being unable to fully immerse ourselves in the experience, the undeniable quality of the broth and ramen prevailed. It left us eager to return when we can truly savor and appreciate every aspect of their ramen offerings. The flavors and quality of their ramen make Jinya Ramen Bar a place worth revisiting when you have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the culinary journey they offer.#LetsGuide"

"It 's confusing how this establishment manage to maintain business with its undeniable poor quality, taste, presentation and pricing for their food. The ramen broth appears thick but taste incredibly bland; noodles are simply tasteless as well. The yakiudon...really?? Is it even considered yakiudon? Is it considered a dish? It 's the one of the most unappetizing thing a person can witness...it sadly makes fast food look better. Appetizers may be from the frozen food section, but people most likely can prepare it better at home...other people 's rice bowl must be below standard as well since they only took 3 bites of it and ready to move on...it 's just SO bad. It 's so bad, you would think their pricing would be lower BUT NO, their pricing is actually more than most legitimate ramen restaurants in Austin...so how it manages to stay in business?? It 's a mystery! But regardless, why suffer when you can get significantly better food elsewhere. Lastly, it must be noted that this place has cleanliness concerns...the dining room is grimy. Something gotta be wrong with their air ventilation. There are leaks and it wasn 't even raining that day. I mean most restaurants over there are in old establishments, so it 's challenging to look its best, but at least try... All in all...there are so many things that this place must improve on in order to survive this competitive restaurant industry. In the meantime, skip your remote curiosity and quickly move on to anywhere else...thank you, NEXT."

"Honestly, I'm super disappointed. I have a reservation for 8 at 4:45 on a Saturday months in advance. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 25 for the drinks. The food came extremely scattered and one of our friends did not receive their food until 30 minutes after all the others had received their food. In addition, the bill was grounded (have additional items that we do not order) and the service was extremely slow. In addition, the manager does not care at all. Very frustrating experience."

For guests of the establishment, the catering service is also available, and it's made with lots of fresh vegetables, fish and meat, easily digestible Japanese dishes cooked. The tasty Sushi such as Maki and Te-Maki however, is the undisputed highlight of this establishment.
