"Attending a Chinese friends wedding banquet and was treated to the most authentic and amazing meal. As the entire restaurant was booked for the event, I cannot comment about the ambience. However, I must point out that the staff were very helpful in assisting us clueless people on what each item was and the add-ons ! Starters consisted of pork-ribs, crab cakes, prawn with cashew salad and mushroom with pok-choi. "Restaurant was booked for 5:30pm on a Saturday, was very busy and people were getting turned away at the door due to being at capacity and not having a reservation. Would advise booking ahead. Despite how busy it was the overall atmosphere and mood was relaxed within. Fillet steak topped with Pressed black pudding ham hough, skinny fries, peppercorn sauce and cherry tomatoes. I felt the plate looked a bit underwhelming and could have been accompanied with some more veg or onion rings/loaf or a smaller plate, despite the disappointment with presentation the meal tasted fantastic. Pricey but not more than you would expect in the city centre. Toilets located downstairs and a bit of an adventure to get there. Recommended"
