"The ambience was intimate and the lighting particularly good. The staff were attentive and professional. The problem was that we had read so many good reviews of the food, we had quite high expectations. We both ordered the vegetarian menu and found it to be hit and miss. The Aloo Chat was delicious and the curried eggs were very enjoyable too. However, the tough broccoli in a sour and spicy sauce was borderline unpleasant. The main disappointment was the main final course: bland rice (I yearned for cumin, or coconut, or something that would make it nicer than the boil in the bag rice one might cook at home), and Sag Paneer that was just a bit flavourless. The Sag was nice enough, paneer is mild by nature, but it was a boring end to a meal that started with good promise."

"Dined here after the matinee at the Lyceum. We were asked if we wanted water with the meal. We always say yes, but after a bottle was brought to the table and poured, we realised too late that it was chargeable. We both ordered the 'secret ' bacon and cheeseburgers. My bacon was so chewy that I had to spit it out, inedible. We 've had much better burgers in our local pubs. Desserts, vanilla cheesecake, and pecan pie were good. Some live music could be heard in the distance but hidden from view somewhere. Been looking forward to coming here for years, so disappointing. Lots of people say it was better at the old location."

"We celebrated our jubilee at the last weekend in chino latino. the staff is very friendly and attentive. I had the black cod with spicy nebel and steamed pak choi. my partner had the casterbridge sirloin steak with cassava chips. both meals were beautifully presented and delicious. for drinks we had the royal and mojito royale. again both cocktails were perfect "
