"As is apparent from other reviews, this restaurant is popular with tour groups. Possibly as an individual diner I received more personal attention; but I was very pleased with the general service and the attention given by general manager Robert Kardos. My wife and I dined here a decade or so ago and remembered it as a quaint place with great Hungarian food. Actually, the menu is more widespread and reflects dishes from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. On my most recent visit I had Hungarian pancakes appetizer (pleasantly different) and goulash (3 ways). I would have preferred a bit more spice in the goulash, but both beef and chicken portions were tender and tasty. The décor is certainly a draw for those wishing a "feel" of the old days, but the food warrants return visits."

"At 9pm on May 27 we had dinner at Fiorino, which is less than 200 meters from the Austria Classic Hotel Wien. The restaurant was about half full inside and a few diners at outside tables. Lighting inside was bright enough for reading the menu but not glaring. Light Rock/Easy listening background music was at a pleasant volume. Our table was clean as were the utensils. Donna had a glass of chardonnay and I had a beer. Both the Spinach Pizza for Donna and Burger with Fries for me were delivered sooner than expected. Even though I ordered the burger ‘well done’ the beef still had a pink color. I decided to try it as is an was pleasantly surprised. It was mild not charred beef taste I sometimes get. The pizza had a fresh spinach taste with a crispy thin crust, so was good as well. When paying the server advised us that three Euro’s was too much of a tip and two Euro’s was sufficient. Nice. Overall, we liked Fiorino for the good food and service. The total was $40.89 plus tip."
