"Came to eat here in the morning and was really just open to eat anything. I ordered their soy sauce fried noodle and steam sticky rice. It was overall good. The noodles were a little too saucy and I had to keep drinking out my delicious milk tea to not get tired of it. Service is really were they could improve. It took them about 15-20 minutes to take my order even though the place was not busy. I also had to get the attention of the front of house to get my check since no one ever went back to check if I wanted to order anything else or was done with my meal. Would come back but maybe not during breakfast time…"

"Still as great as 20 years ago. Fabulous food and great wine selection. I especially enjoyed a Pinot Gris from the Fingerlakes region of the state of New York. My salmon with Brussels sprouts was good too. There was also a delicious free cornbread appetizer with apple sauce. Attentive service and overall wholesome atmosphere.Food: 5/5"

"Came for restaurant week and the food was delicious! We liked how the servers told us how the chef recommends to eat the dish so we could get the best experience. Definitely worth visiting! The main dish with pork was so crunchy yet soft inside that was a good combo along with the mild spicy sauce."

"Love this restaurant! The people here are so nice and the food is amazingly good. Also tried their Nordic bubbly drink, really tasty! Tip: try to sit on the counter, then you can see how the pastry chef prepare the bread and dessert!"

"Loved this place! The sope is beautiful, almost a hidden gem tucked away from the busy city outside. Ate here for lunch with my bf whose never had good Korean food, and we both loved everything. Started with the Chicken Katsu, which was a perfectly fried chicken cutlet that wasn't greasy or over battered. The caramelized onion dipping sauce and the cabbage salad really rounded it out giving it richness and a fresh crunch.for entrees I had the Bulgogi Beef Bibimbap, which was perfectly prepared in a large bowl with fresh vegetables, beef, and a soft cooked egg. Finished with a healthy heaping of their house made Gochujang and I was in heaven. My bf had their Ssam-bap (think thai lettuce wraps) set with spicy pork and really enjoyed it. So glad we found this place and look forward to may return meals here."

"I 'm focusing this review on the congee as this is what you would come here for. Full disclosure: I grew up in the shanty towns of Kowloon, Hong Kong in the 70 's. Been in New York since the mid 80 's. My grandparents and parents used to work in Chinese restaurants. My mom is a great home cook and still makes congee at home every week. I currently live in Chinatown. Back to Congee Village 's congee. The congee (rice porridge) itself is very smooth. Smoother than the other restaurants ' in Chinatown. May show quality in the cooking. Maybe better quality rice and longer cook time. Doesn 't taste like MSG (although I can 't guarantee they don 't use it). Nice flavor and texture. If you get stuff in the congee, the ingredients are good quality, but they don 't give you as much compared to other restaurants. Pieces are also chopped finer, so to me, the flavor kind of gets lost. This may depend on your taste. For me, the congee/ingredients ratio is a bit off. I feel they are a bit on the stingy side with the good stuff. It 's like ordering spaghetti and meat sauce and they give you a big plate of pasta with a small dollop of sauce. You 'd feel kind of good about the delicious few bites that have sauce and meat, but the other bites are just plain (still great) pasta. So unless you 're into plain congee, (however great it may be), you may feel like you 're cheated out of what you ordered. This may be exactly what you get in a village in China, but here in plentiful America, you kind of expect more. You get that Where 's the Beef? feeling just like in the Wendy 's commercial. But there is something about their congee, that is so smooth and consistently good; and even though it 's a trek for me to the opposite end of Chinatown, I find myself making that long trek back there every so often. Service isn 't perfect. Staff can be curt... almost rude, but that is to be expected in Chinatown. Wait time is ridiculous compared to other restaurants. For takeout, you can sometimes wait 20 minutes. If you order something special, like lobster congee, it can be 30 minutes. Even eat-in, orders can take a while. Probably a small kitchen or few kitchen staff."

"The food is really good and I come here many times. Today, it gets so cold and I have my period headache. My friend is going to be here in 10 min and the waitress made me to stand outside the door even through I told her I’m not feeling well. Really sad that woman cannot understand women…"

"You know I love about this Deli? Just ability everything. It’s well designed interior is so welcoming—just like its staff. Dimes cares about design and quality products, produce, books, snacks, and so much more! Dimes is a modern day sundry shoppe offering its own products, like candles lip balm. Stop by for some fresh fruit on the go. It never disappoints."
